Anni would like to thank everyone so much for all the messages, flowers and cards sent following the death of Matt.
Matthew Cornish was killed during a mortar attack in Basra in the early hours of 1 August 2006.  He was badly wounded and died soon afterwards in hospital.  He was serving in the British army in Iraq.  Matt was married to Abby and had two children - Ethan (aged 3 years) and Libby (aged 15 months).  The family were due to return to Leeds UK the following week.
Matt was the eldest son of Anni Rainbow -
Joint Co-ordinator of CAAB.
Matt was killed in an illegal war - led by the US/UK governments.  Settling conflicts by violent ways is not the solution.
